Speaker and Author: Kim Scouller

Kim is recognized as a leading advocate for women and their finances. She has been an attorney for 30+ years and has served as in-house counsel for one of the largest financial services companies in the world.

As one of the few women broker-dealer presidents in the U.S., Kim traveled around the country talking with people, especially women, about the steps to identify and achieve their financial goals.

Kim later opened her own Financial Education Practice, obtained a designation as a Certified Financial Educator® and recently co-authored a book with Sharon Lector called "How Money Works for Women - Take Control or Lose it," a tremendous book designed to help women remain in control of their money through every stage of their financial life.

Co-Author Sharon Lector is a CPA best known for her work with Robert Kiyosaki through the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" series of books.

Women, the beneficiaries of the great wealth transfer, are expected to control $30 trillion of the financial assets in the U.S. by 2030. That’s 2/3rds of the entire wealth in this country. Yet, many women defer financial decisions to their spouses or partners. Consider that 80% of women die single while 80% of men die married. Now, more than ever, women need to know how money works.

Kim will discuss the unique financial challenges and opportunities that women encounter throughout their lives; from paying for college to starting a business to raising children to taking care of elderly parents to planning for retirement and long-term care needs.
